Tom was my first male and my first Class in Show winner.  He did not step foot into a show ring until he was over 4 years of age, and never ever understood why he had to give ears in the ring.  (So he didn't!)

He did not get it easy either.  After just a few shows, he was attacked by a Bull Terrier, and subsequently lost the last inch (and hook) off his tail.  His tail was clipped off and had to re-grow before he could compete successfuly again.  

He is a style of Keeshond that I have always admired and aspire to.  Unfortunately he was sterile and thus never produced any puppies

He was de-sexed and placed in a pet home.  He is 13 this year.
