My first Lhasa, Andre was a completely new learning curve! Not only did I have all this hair to deal with, he had an attitude to boot. Not soft and pliable like the Kees tend to be, he was (and still is) very stubborn and strong willed.
He did exceptionally well as a puppy, taking Baby Puppy in Show at his very first show. He was also a Puppy in Show winner. Both these wins were under Breed Specialists.
He was retired and clipped off in 2000. In 2001 he was the subject of an attack by an intruder to our yard and sustained serious injuries, resulting in his losing the sight in one eye.
He is a proven sire, with one champion to date.
